They Crossed the Line!!!!!!
Last Friday (13th January) 5 Scouts crossed the line, moving from the Troop to the Unit.
The now Recruit Venture Scouts; Ian Abela, Jolen Galea, Munir Al Faitury, Andrea Gerada & Simon Corrieri, bravely jumped over the rope to fall in beside the rest of the Unit.

Before the Crossing of the Line Ceremony there was a Troop Investiture which i watched and took many photos of.
The Recruits had been attending both Unit & Troop meetings/Activities for a month.
They will Attend Unit meetings as regular Venture Scouts and will begin their Basic Training in July. If they pass their Graduation Exercise (which is usually held in September) they will be promoted to Venture Scouts.
After the Crossing we went out to Eat at TGI. Where we all ate too much.
The VSL & AVSL are currently training for the Half Marathon which is to be held on the 5th of March. The Unit Members and I are collecting sponsorship money which will go towards the Unit.
The Next Activity is a Mudcycling Activity, something we haven't done since '04!
It's always a lot of fun, even for the people that can't cycle.
see you there,
Mo$es
