Saturday 22nd July (Dive/BBQ)

Hi guys! sorry for the delay but i've been so busy lately lanqas i had a chance to update the blog with last weekend's Activities and those of the weekend before.
On Saturday (the 22nd) we had not one, but two brilliant activities! We started with a Dive in Armier with the two instructors who kindly help us out everytime we have a dive (Mr Martin Aquilina and Mr Peter Degiorgio). They took us to quite an interesting site were we tried out some of the beginner techniques, like clearing your mask and even got a chance to see a couple of strange fishies. Visibility was good but unfortunately all the photos were taken with an underwater camera (which coincidentally doesn't plug into my USB port) so they will not be on this blog!

After the Dive we headed to Pembroke for a BBQ by the sea.
We feasted like Sultans on sausages burgers and Zalzett Malti and although there was some left over stuff someone found a use for it!
The BBQ

The Unit (From left to right) Corrieri, Ian, Peter, VSL Andrew, James, Ed CZ, Martin covered by Meli and Dulli.
After a little bit of a food fight between the Recruits we went in for a nice night swim and then cleaned up the place and headed home.
It was a nice break from the rigorous training which the Unit has been providing for these Recruits and i'm sure everyone enjoyed the little respite. The Training Camp is coming up and that is no joke.
Yours in Venturifying
