Tigrija ta' B'kara

On Wednesday 13th Dec the Unit took part in a 5km race organised by B'kara St Joseph!
We called it a fun run but that's not what it actually is. It's a race for the local runners to see what stage they're at in their training. The Unit were mostly well prepared and most of the members came in after about 23minutes (which is decent for a 1st time!).

It was a whole lot of fun and it was good to see the positive effects of our physical training. As I've been hinting, our challenges are growing and if this month we did a 5km fun run, next time is gunna be bigger and much tougher!

For my next adventure I'm heading to Africa to climb Mount Kilimanjaro with the VSL. We're all set to go and leave on the 27th.
You can read more about our adventure here : http://www.kilimanjarochallenge3.com/

Also the AVSL will be travelling to South Africa on holiday at the same time.

The rest of the Unit will be hard at work, they have a lot to prepare for including the fire & Cooking (set for 12th-13th Jan) and extensive training for the SVS Challenge which is set to be their greatest challenge yet!

So yea SVS will be starting 2007 with adventures and challenges galore!

we'll keep in touch
HAPPY NY!!!
